We appreciate your participation in the annual Glide Floss Bridge to Bridge Run in San Francisco, benefiting Special Olympics Northern California.
START TIME
12K Run and 7K Run/Walk will both start at 9:00am, RAIN OR SHINE.
BIB NUMBERS
Bib numbers must be worn on the front of your shirt on the course, in the finish chutes, for photos, and to receive official Bridge to Bridge t-shirt and refreshments.
SWEATS
Our sweats truck will be located at the far corner of Justin Herman Plaza near the fountain and tables will be well-marked. Please make sure your sweatshirts and sweatpants are marked with your name and phone number. PLEASE DO NOT CHECK VALUABLES - WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST ITEMS! Be green and bring your own reusable bag, pre-marked with your bib number.
PARKING
You may park in any of The Embarcadero Center Garages anytime on race day between 5:00am and 9:00am; upon leaving, simply show your bib number to the attendant to pay the special $10 Bridge Run parking rate. There is no expiration time on when you will be required to leave that day. By the way, there is parking available on the streets near Justin Herman Plaza, but please check the meters carefully for restrictions.
OFFICIAL BRIDGE TO BRIDGE T-SHIRT
All registered participants can pick up their t-shirt at the expo after the race. Adult sizes S, M, L, XL will be available (NOTE: A limited number of XXL will be available. To reserve an XXL - email diane@rhodyco.com). WE ARE NOT ABLE TO GUARANTEE T-SHIRT SIZE - FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED.
POST-RUN EXPO/ACTIVITIES
After crossing the finish line at the end, runners and walkers can enjoy the post-run expo on the Presidio Parade Grounds, which features live music on the main stage starting at 9:00am, plus an expo area with food and drink sampling from our sponsors, a Kids Zone and a sports pavilion.
FINISH LINE TIMING & RESULTS
All registered runners will be timed using Bar Code Timing. The tag at the bottom of the bib number has the barcode which will be used to record your official time. Please do not remove this tag until you cross the finish line and are asked for it by the finish line officials. Note: We will not be using electronic timing chips. Finish line timing is being provided by It’s About Time/Buzzword Productions. Results will be available at the expo afterwards and also online following the race.
AWARDS/AGE DIVISIONS
Awards announced from stage: 1st Place (7K & 12K) Male & Female Overall (all ages), 1st Place Youth (8-12, 13-16); 1st Place Master 40+; 1st Place Senior (60+).
Awards to be picked up at Age Division Tent: 7K & 12K Medals / 1st, 2nd & 3rd / Male & Female, in these age categories: 8-12 • 13-16 • 17-29 • 30-39 • 40-49 • 50-59 • 60+.
KIDS
Baby joggers are welcome, but please be respectful of other participants and be aware of your surroundings at all times. There is also a Kids Zone at the expo with interactive games and a children’s stage with jugglers and magicians.
SHUTTLES
There will be FREE shuttles back to the start after the race and that service will start at approximately 9:30am.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you requested that your bib be mailed and you still have not received yours, please go to the Will Call booth on Sunday morning and we will issue you a replacement bib.
